Terms of Service
By using the Chant Counter mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Chant Counter lets you create and join chants (mantras / japa), add counts, invite others, and view group totals. The App is provided by the operator of megachant.com (“we”, “us”).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement and can form a binding agreement.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account in the App (Profile → Delete my account); deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel.
4. Acceptable use
- No abuse, harassment, spam, illegal content, or impersonation.
- No bots or automated counting; counts must reflect genuine human practice.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, security, or moderation.
We may soft-delete chants, warn accounts, or restrict access for violations.
5. User content
You retain rights to content you submit (titles, chant text, profile info). You grant us a license to host and display it to provide the service. Public and Friends chants may be visible to other users as described in the App.
You can report chants or users in-app. Moderators may review reports and take action.
6. Ads
The App may show advertisements (including Google AdMob). Ads appear after you are signed in.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Counts sync over the network and may be delayed when offline.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page.
